Who is our customer?
Algebra Ventures is a leading technology VC firm in Egypt. The team launched their first early-stage venture fund in 2016, and their firm is aimed at investing in technology start-ups that leverage innovation to transform large markets. The Algebra team is based in Cairo.
What is our funding objective?
The objective of this TA project is to support Algebra Ventures to transform their AGM convening into a platform for wider community engagement by supporting the design and delivery of a curated Mini-Conference alongside the AGM for 2026 and 2027 events.
Why do we fund this investment?
Egypt's tech ecosystem is at an inflection point. After years of macroeconomic turbulence and reduced investor appetite, Algebra Ventures - as one of Egypt's leading VC - is in a unique position to reset the narrative and showcase both resilience and opportunity. The planned AGM & Mini-Conference is not simply an LP reporting session; it is a broader ecosystem convening that will bring together founders (portfolio and beyond), investors, and partners in a curated setting.
