Who is our customer?

Global Partnerships (GP) is a non-profit impact investment fund manager with more than 20 years track record.

What is our funding objective?

This project will support Global Partnerships in two workstreams: Workstream 1 (fund design): Designing GP's next fund, which aims to achieve scale and unlock margin for high-impact social enterprises and investors through expert management of impact and foreign currency risk. Workstream 2 (impact measurement): Enhancing the use of client outcomes data in strategic impact measurement and management to (a) build social enterprise capacity and (b) enable investors to design vehicles and investment allocations that align risk and return expectations with impact objectives.

Why do we fund this investment?

FMO, via MASSIF funding, has been a long-term partner to Global Partnerships (GP) for the past 15 years, having supported multiple funds (Social Investment Fund 2010, Social Investment Fund 5, Social Investment Fund 6) and impact-focused TA programs, reaching clients that FMO/MASSIF cannot target directly due to their small size and risk profile. Following the maturity of MASSIF's USD 10 million exposure to Social Investment Fund 6 in September 2025, GP and FMO sought an opportunity for continued collaboration via an investment in GP's Impact-First Growth Fund to ensure GP's impactful mission can further grow. FMO has been a trusted thought partner to GP as well as an active investor in GP debt funds and has provided valuable capacity development support to GP as they grow and innovate.
