Who is our customer

NeoGrowth Credit Private Limited (“NeoGrowth”) is a regulated non-deposit taking NBFC digital lender in India. NeoGrowth’s data science and technology-led approach enables it to offer quick and hassle-free loans to MSMEs across 70+ segments.

What is our funding objective?

FMO will invest in the Series D equity raise of NeoGrowth to support growth of the Company.

Why do we fund this investment?

NeoGrowth provides loans to consumer-facing, retail-oriented and underserved MSME, promoting financial inclusion for first time entrepreneurs and small businesses that would otherwise not have access to credit from traditional financial institutions due to the lack of a formal financial track record.

What is the Environmental and Social categorization rationale?

E&S risk is deemed limited (risk classification C), with the potential environmental and social impact from the Bank’s operations being minimal. NeoGrowth has an Environmental, Social and Human Capital Policy in place with an exclusion list and follows good consumer protection practices
