Who is our customer
Validus provides working capital loans to growing and underserved SME borrowers in Southeast Asia, by leveraging AI & Machine Learning-based digital underwriting techniques and alternative data. The Company sources both institutional debt capital for balance sheet lending and also operates a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) lending platform that connects SMEs directly with accredited and institutional investors looking to invest in a higher-yielding, unsecured loan portfolio.
What is our funding objective?
The main funding objective is to provide capital needed to grow the Company’s operations.
Why do we fund this investment?
Validus operates in some un(der)banked countries such as Indonesia and Vietnam. The Company’s solution promotes financial inclusion of SME’s, which is in line with FMO’s goals.
