What is our funding objective?

Objective of the funding is to develop a combined PV-Solar and Pump Storage Hydro hybrid energy project in Rwanda. The transaction is a seed investment for Climate Investor One.

Why do we fund this investment?

The transaction is an opportunity to develop a tailored financing structure (funding development and construction) for a hybrid energy solution and we are likely to crowd in investments which would otherwise not have been available to the project.
