As an Operations Treasury Officer, you understand and handle post-trade activities for products like IRS/CCS derivatives, FX, NDS, bonds, and CPs. Activities include checking confirmations and final terms, processing payments, security settlement, and collateral management.
You are well-versed in post-trade regulations like EMIR or SFTR. You have experience in collateral management, TR reporting, derivatives clearing, as well as payments and security settlement in different currencies and markets. You understand the cashflows on the products and can spot errors in registrations or documentation.
In your role, you also have an understanding of cashflow forecasts and cross-functional dependencies across risk, finance, settlements, and regulatory reporting.
In addition, the team also works closely with stakeholders on projects and product development in the treasury domain and investment teams, where you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your team’s requirements and contribute to change initiatives through testing, documentation and process enhancements.
As an operations officer you will be involved in the following activities:
Use your product and post-trade expertise to validate trade capture against confirmations and life cycle events—ensuring accurate positions.
Review trade confirmations, liaise with counterparties for dispute resolution, and ensure timely administration in our core systems.
Execute payments and settlements timely and accurately in WSS Suite and Swift.
Investigate BAU issues and take appropriate action or escalation.
Issue, verify and investigate breaks in margin calls on both cleared and bilateral derivatives transactions and escalate where necessary.
Reconcile and report positions as part of liquidity management.
Handle Swift queries and alerts for sanctions screening in a timely manner escalating to relevant stakeholders when necessary.
Ensure the quality of the processes and controls.
Design and optimize processes to meet new regulations, projects, products, services, markets, and improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with investment teams to support execution and implementation of new products to achieve higher impact.
Engage in market and static data control.

The Operations department (Debt, Private Equity and Treasury) consists of more than fifty dedicated colleagues from many different nationalities and backgrounds. The Operations Treasury team within the department consists of seven enthusiastic specialists.
We are a small team of 7 and we have a diverse set of tasks. We are looking for someone with broad treasury product and lifecycle knowledge that can quickly take on independent responsibilities, have hands-on experience and is eager to learn and fill in any gaps of knowledge
You are analytically strong, structured, result-oriented, pro-active and a real team player with good communication skills (in English).
You can switch gears from executing BAU work with quality to then contribute to new product or process rollouts without losing control of the daily deliverables.
You have an eye for detail, and you continuously want to improve the quality of your work.
You have excellent time management and prioritization skills, and you can deal calmly with tight deadlines
You possess a good understanding of ISDA/ICMA terminology used in confirmations for various products such as Rates derivatives, Swaps, Foreign exchange, Bonds, Commercial Paper and are able to spot inaccuracies and take timely action to resolve them.
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, and you have a clear affinity with working in a financial institution.
You have at least 6 years of experience in Treasury Operations (middle and/or back office) space, preferably in international payments, cashflows, reconciliation, collateral and liquidity management, funding and derivatives products and understand the fundamentals of the products and their events
Experience with WSS Suite, Swift, Markitwire, TriResolve would be a plus.
