On June 5, FMO closed its first ever 100% green line project with PFS (PTC Financial Services). This US$25 mln credit line will be exclusively used to invest in renewable energy projects in India.
PFS is an Indian NBFI that provides financial services to the energy value chain. The FMO funding will be used to grow the renewable energy portfolio of PFS and therefore classifies as green line. In addition, FMO and PFS will work together to improve the existing ESMS and apply IFC Performance Standards to all high risk projects in portfolio, for which we will provide CD as well.
