An annual event bringing together the restructuring teams of development finance institutions.
The DFI SOS is an annual event organized by the Special Operations (restructuring) teams of DFIs, where we meet for two days to network and share our experiences in this field. Restructurings involve clients that for a variety of reasons (market, industry) cannot meet the agreed repayment terms or cannot comply with the terms of the loan. The Banks’ SO teams need to enter into negotiations on the new terms and conditions of the loan. During the seminar we discuss matters related to risk, we review specific cases as well as legal aspects of restructurings. We expect around 100 guests. Each year it is hosted by a different DFI: in 2015, FMO has the pleasure of hosting this conference in Amsterdam starting from May 17th late afternoon, ending May 19 mid-day.
