FMO is pleased to announce the publication of its Position Statement on Corporate Stakeholder Engagement & Lobbying. This follows after the public consultation process.This statement is an integral part of FMO's Sustainability Policy framework, and outlines our approach to engaging with corporate stakeholders, including the Dutch State, the EU institutions, Netherlands members of parliament, NGOs, Think tanks and media representatives.
The Position Statement emphasizes the importance of transparent, timely, and constructive engagement with stakeholders to enhance our decision-making processes and drive positive change. FMO considers its engagement with stakeholders a two-way dialogue that helps us improve, bring diverse perspectives, and enhance key practices such as financial performance, ESG risk assessment, and impact management. The Position Statement furthermore details FMO’s approach to policy advocacy and lobbying.
