news - Corporations step up use of renewable energy in 2017

Companies in 75 countries around the world sourced 465 terawatt hours of renewable energy in 2017, enough to power the whole of France for a year, according to a report from the International Renewable Energy Agency. Of 2,400 corporations surveyed, just 200 are sourcing more than half their energy from renewable sources, but half are working actively to increase the proportion of renewable energy for their operations.
