Preparing the Middle East and North Africa for the fourth industrial revolution

May 15, 2017

With populations among the youngest in the world, countries in the Middle East and North Africa have substantial human capital potential. However, the regions are characterised by high rates of unemployment and underemployment, low (albeit increasing) levels of workforce participation by women, and an imbalance in the availability of low-, medium- and highly-skilled jobs.
