Learning must be the priority of education policies around the world

There are many examples throughout modern history proving that smart education policies focused on learning lead to significant economic development and overall well-being. However, the World Bank has identified significant barriers to learning in educational systems outside developed countries, and outlines policy recommendations to re-orient education towards promoting effective learning for children. These are split into three areas: improve measurements for learning in educational programmes, use evidence to guide innovation and practice and align stakeholders towards reorienting educational systems to promote learning.
