Fintech is rapidly changing financial services across Asia through innovations including distributed ledger technology, online peer-to.peer lending and online investment and trading platforms, which can contribute to significant toward the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, according to a report from KPMG China and Cyberport. The authors say fintech is allowing many Asians previously denied the opportunity to access a wide range of financial services, noting that both established institutions and new fintech businesses are active in creating access to sustainable finance across the continent.
