The Conference aims at exchanging views and experiences in the field of inclusive finance in developing countries. Technology is changing the financial world and the Conference looks at how this technology can be used for expanding inclusive finance in developing countries.
Inclusive finance stands for affordable and safe access to financial services such as banking- and saving accounts, loans, insurances and pensions. More than 350 national and international bankers from over 60 countries exchange their experiences and views during plenary sessions, roundtable conversations and workshops.
At the Conference, Her Royal Majesty Queen Máxima received the book ‘Banking for a Better World’ out of the hands of Nanno Kleiterp, the departing CEO of FMO.
