As the world gathers in Brazil for COP30, FMO is proud to contribute to the global climate dialogue with a strong presence in private-sector focused São Paulo.
This year, our focus is clear: accelerating climate action through sustainable forestry and nature-based solutions. With the Amazon and other critical ecosystems in the spotlight, we are committed to showcasing how finance can be a powerful lever for protecting forests, restoring landscapes, and empowering communities.
FMO has long championed climate-smart investments across emerging markets. From renewable energy to climate-resilient agriculture, our portfolio reflects a deep commitment to inclusive green growth.
At COP30, we will highlight our work in forestry finance—supporting projects that combine conservation, carbon sequestration, and sustainable livelihoods. These efforts are not only vital for climate mitigation but also for biodiversity and social equity.
All of FMO’s COP30 events will take place in São Paulo, bringing together partners, thought leaders, and innovators to explore scalable solutions.
Our FMO delegation will be in São Paulo from 5-9 November.
