Your team

At FMO, we're dedicated to expanding our impact through strategic partnerships. We collaborate with a range of stakeholders, including commercial banks, asset managers, and development finance institutions (DFIs) to amplify the effectiveness of our financial solutions.

The Syndications team within the Partnerships for impact department plays a key role in this respect as it is responsible for all loan syndications. One of FMO’s main mobilization instruments are Unfunded Risk Sharing Programs (URPs) with global insurance companies. By guaranteeing individual loans, these URPs enhance our debt capacity, accelerating our mission to create lasting impact through financial solutions. We leverage our own funding with funding from co-investors such as commercial banks, asset managers and other development.

Ultimately URPs significantly contribute to FMO’s private capital mobilization strategy.

The Syndications team consists of 15 employees divided over three groups in the areas of Syndications (7 persons), Agency desk (5 persons), URP (1 person) and a Management Assistant all reporting to the Manager Syndications. Our team is looking for a Portfolio Officer (PO) for the URPs.
