The team

The Facility Services Department is responsible for all the Facility Services within FMO. For this department we are looking for a Facility Services Officer who is responsible for all sorts of activities in the areas of catering, security, cleaning, logistics, and maintenance of the FMO building in order to support FMO in the realization of organizational goals. Your role

  • Monitoring checks of the FMO building, garage, meeting rooms, all floors and replacing / repairing broken items;
  • Monitoring external vendors responsible for the FMO building and services;
  • Coordinating all vendors for reconstruction and other activities within the FMO;
  • Picking up daily requests from FMO employees, all administered via TopDesk;
  • Handling incoming calls and requests;
  • Back-up for reception during lunch and coffee breaks;
  • Coordinating and organizing internal movements within the FMO building;
  • Logistics of office supplies for all floors and meeting rooms;
  • Ordering office supplies and keeping up to date the administration; Restructuring restaurant and meeting rooms for multi purposes as meetings and presentations;
  • Coordinating archiving of documentation to storage at Iron Mountain;
  • Managing access system with authorization of employees in FMO building;
  • Managing car parking and lockers;
  • Able to instruct employees of all kind of Arbo aspects at the working place on how to use and install desks and chairs;
  • Offering hospitality towards the customers.

Your background

  • Secondary Vocational Education (MBO) degree or HBO level;
  • 0-3 years relevant experience in facility processes and in the facility management field;
  • Team player;
  • Hands on and result orientated;
  • Flexible and very service minded;
  • Strong in organizing, planning and coordinating;
  • Communication skills in English and Dutch;  
  • Energetic and hospitable.

Good to know: for this role we only hire people already residing in the Netherlands.
