Jurgen Rigterink new Chief Investment Officer FMO
As of October 1, Jurgen Rigterink (1964) will enter FMO's Management Board as Chief Investment Officer. Prior to this, Rigterink worked as Chairman of the Management Board and Country Executive Kazakhstan at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC (previously ABN AMRO Holding N.V.). He succeeds Nanno Kleiterp, who will hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at FMO as of October 1. September 11, FMO informed its shareholders about this appointment.
Rigterink has extensive international experience as a banker, which he gained at Bank Brussels Lambert and ABN AMRO. He worked in Belgium, the US, Germany and other countries and since the beginning of 2005 in Kazakhstan. Willy Angenent, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, stated that he was very pleased with this appointment: "FMO will have an experienced and ambitious banker in Jurgen Rigterink, with knowledge of emerging markets, affinity with FMO's mission and a high level of international management experience. The Supervisory Board considers him a valuable addition to FMO."
